Note or Not to Note

My wife is begging me to switch to a Samsung Galaxy Note II, but I don't know. I've been comfortable with my iPhone. The apps are insane and it doesn't look like a seizure attack waiting to happen...I promised I would buy her the Note. What do you guys feel I should do? Should I convert my apple ideals for a android?
