Moving soon!

It's been a long time since I've been on blogger. I've had great experiences with it, but now it's time to move to the next chapter. I've come to hard decision of transferring services to another cleaner site. I'll be starting it this week and hopefully be up by the weekend.

I chose to move because now I need a place to focus on writing while keeping my designs on a close proximity. While promoting my upcoming books. I'll be posting the link here once it's up and running.

EDIT: New link is cirewire.tumblr.com

Need a new short story?

You can get a copy of "The Recruit" for FREE! Just till Tuesday, so act fast! You can get it anywhere that eBooks are sold like Smashwords, Barnes and Noble, Amazon, Apple iBooks, Sony, Kobo, and more!

Yours truly designed the eBook cover and will be designing some prints and stickers for the launch of the first JumpStart! book. I'm hoping to get enough of a sensation to turn one of my designs into a viny toy, but I'm getting a little ahead of myself. I'm still a few thousand words away from finishing the first draft plus I'm searching for an illustrator to help with the eBook cover design to make it look scrumptious.

For now, you can check out the prequel to JumpStart! on your computer, tablet, or phone device thingy. Happy Reading!

eBooks are your friends!

I've seen a lot of writers freak out about doing a full length novel and wonder how they will self-publish such a big manuscript. I was on the same boat while I was working on my fantasy novel, but I noticed that a bunch of authors worked on like a bunch of stories every month and they were published. So I did some research and whatnot and I realized that most of them were just a little bit over 7,500 words.

I decided to work on a story that I had in the back burner for fear that no one would want it. I realized that a lot of readers now don't have time to sit back and read a 100,000 word novel and a lot of them just want a quick read without breaking the bank. So fellow writers, do you have a short story you want to self-publish? Then do it! You can put it as an eBook and take it to Amazon and no one will judge you! :D

My take on The Fault in our Stars

So I'm not one to go to the Young Adult section of the bookstore, but I had to check out this title and the hype it was getting especially since I saw the movie poster at the local Cinemark. I entered the Books-A-Million store and walked to the Best Seller section to get myself a copy of this title.

To be honest, I didn't know what to make of the book cover. If this wasn't a best seller I would've just overlooked it and just get a copy of one of The Walking Dead novels instead. The handwritten font just basically screamed out "Hipster exclusive". Anyways, I bought and went home pondering how I was going to approach the first chapter. I dived into it like a blindfolded Spider-Man about to win a bet from Daredevil.

I'm not going to try to be too detailed to give away any spoilers, but if I do I am very sorry.

The novel introduces to the character Hazel Grace Lancaster, a 16-year-old girl suffering from thyroid cancer, who according to her love interest slash homeboy, Augustus Waters, a victim of osteosarcoma, looks like Natalie Portman from V from Vendetta. That is one of coolest references I've ever read in my life! The author, John Green, does his coolest by making the novel easy to read and follow without a lot of plot turns. I personally found the book totally remarkable and really allows us to understand that life is always going to be full of surprises good or bad. The one problem is that it's a real page turner, so I tried my best to not be gut-wrenched when things don't go their way.

John Green, you are a magnificent SOB, and this book truly is one of the coolest fiction stories I read.

Everything is going well!

What's up everyone!

I hope you all are having a sweet weekend, I'll be a bit busy writing so I don't know if I'll be able to "relax". I posted up the second chapter to #FullServer on Wattpad! Also I'm working on a novella or novelette of awesome proportions. I always thought I was gonna do a mystery novel or thriller, but I ended up on a fantasy story instead. Hmmm...crazy! Anywho I'll be updating the #FullServer site with new chapters every Friday so make sure you visit!
